Locate your relatives

If you wish to make your address known or are looking for a relative, this is how to proceed :

  • First Consult :
The ListConsult the list. If your relative's name is on the list, you may be able to send him a Red Cross Message. Check on this site, or with your nearest Red Cross/Red Crescent representative for more information.

  • You want to inform your relative of your whereabouts:
Register yourselfOnce you registered yourself, your relatives will know that you are looking for them by checking the list, and may be in a position to contact you through a Red Cross Message.

  • You are looking for a relative whose name is not on the list :
Register your relativeYour relatives are not on the list and you have no news from them. Register the names of the relatives you are looking for on the list. They might check the list from their new location and send you a Red Cross Message. Or someone checking the list could have information on them which they might send you in a Red Cross Message.

To register your relatives on the list you need to fill in a form divided into two parts, with data regarding yourself (to be filled even if you have already registered your name in the list) and data regarding the relative you are trying to locate.

Should you wish to locate more than one relative, you will have the opportunity to do so after the first registration.
