Since the beginning of military operations in Iraq on 20 March 2003, thousands of families all over the world have lost contact and many people are without news of loved ones.

The aim of the FamilyLinks website is to accelerate the process of restoring contact between separated family members and to facilitate the exchange of family news.

It is managed by the ICRC, in cooperation with the tracing services of the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies throughout the world and with the support of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society in Iraq.

The ICRC has no means of verifying the information sent through the network. It cannot accept responsibility for any inaccurate information given through the services made available on this site.
