Help - How to check whether your relative has published information on his whereabouts

If you have been affected by this conflict, crisis or disaster and have no news of your relatives, you should check if any of them have published their whereabouts or your name on this site.

To help you, the list of names is in alphabetical order:

· Enter all or part of the name and click on Go.
· If the name you type is in the system, it will be automatically displayed. If it is not in the system, the next name in alphabetical order will appear instead.
· If you identify a relative, you can access the information supplied by him/her on the website. You can obtain more information by writing to the contact address that appears on the first page of this website.
· If you find your own name on the website, you can access the information contained including the name and address of the relativewho is looking for you, and send him/her a message either directly or by contacting a Red Cross / Red Crescent office, which should be able to help you restore contact.

If your search was unsuccessful, do not panic.
Remember that the database includes only information voluntarily given by victims of this conflict, crisis or disaster

Maybe you spelled your relative's name or your name differently from the way it was registered. Try other spellings.

If your search is still unsuccessful, register your name and present address on this site
to give your relatives a chance to contact you. To do so, click on Register yourself

If you do not want to publish your name and present address worldwide,
contact your nearest ICRC or Red Cross Red Crescent office for help.
